    la-la-la-la

    I got nothing.

I just didn't want you to think I'd forgotten about you.

Nor should you forget about me!

    Heh.

Have a fantabulous day! Enjoy the rest of the RNC! I can only watch it on Jon Stewart.

No one can forget me and I think it's the same for you. Is that too much confidence? I think not.

I am not at all interested in the RNC. I've paid just enough attention to stay informed. Maybe I'm biased, but after actually attending the DNC this is coming up way short, repetitive and boring.

And I told M earlier....during Obama's acceptance speech(and all week) I could feel the energy, people dying for change, excited about their vote and there was a real diverse population. It looked liked America and felt amazing and you just know it's not the same status quo. When I saw the lady who has no integrity and has allowed herself to be used spouting off her mouth last night and the camera panned...everyone looked the same. Uh huh. I'm just unimpressed with it all and I don't believe any of it.

OMG! You're a Prince fan, too? *sigh* I have loved that man and his music since I was 9 and my love has ever wavered. I reached musical nirvana in 2004 when he came to Columbia, SC during his Musicology tour. I swear it was practically a spiritual experience. LOL After having seen him in concert then and Maxwell back in 1999, I could die a happy girl!

We could go back and forth like this all day. Do I adore Prince? Yes.

I still listen to Adore and The Beautiful Ones and I have to hear them all the way through. I just never tire of his music. They are two of my favorite ballads ever. And I'm talking the extended version of Adore. I'm singing it as I type. Love most of his up tempo stuff.

Maxwell... my favorite is How Does It Feel? Hee. Not for the under 18 crowd that's for sure. That might be too much information.

Last concert I went to was John Mayer in July. And I swear if Bon Jovi makes it back this way-Chicago- I'm there. My musical tastes run the gamut.

Awwwww...sweetness under that black heart. I love it so.

And let me tell you...your list of musical artists rocked. I could go on and on about most of them starting with Prince. Be glad you live in SC.

Like you I watch The Food Network and my kitchen is clean as a whistle because I rarely cook. Like once every couple weeks if then.

That is so awesome that you will be there to see Obama speak. I love Obama and am so voting for him too. I agree with his politiucs and even though he is a politician so this sounds nieve but I trust him. Something about him speaks to me that he will put his country first before special intrests. I hope you and your daughter have a blast. You sound like an awesome mother taking your daughter to see Obama and teach her who a positive role model is. These days so many young people look up to fake Hollywood to aspire to so for her to see a true person to aspire to I am glad she has you there to show her.

It will be truly historic and maybe one day during your daughter's presidential speech she will have in a speech the day her mom brought her to Denver to see Obama's speech and taught her who was someone to really look up to. ;)

I actually love Psychology and can't wait to chat to you about the class. I am a nerd about that stuff.

I will keep you updated on my quest to meet Steve and especially you and others. :)

    Hey T :)

My classes started today.Chemistry was today and tomorrow is Psychology.

So your going to Denver huh?

I went there two years ago with my uncle to see my cousin's wedding. We had a Blast! I hope you enjoy it. The state is really beautiful.

As for Chicago and Steve right now as much as I want to go, I don't think I will be able to make it.Financially it has been tough with my grams and mom lately and college. I am still trying though. I want to see all the friends (including you) I talk to online and represent the liason fans proud.

If I don't go I still expect a recap via PM from you. ;)

Enjoy your 3 day break before the chaos of teaching starts again for you. I can't wait to hear how Denver was from you.

I won't accept that you won't be there. I'm stubborn that way and just believe something will change. I'm sure college and caring for parents and grandparents is expensive emotionally, financially and physically so I'm hoping things improve soon. The best thing is having them around though so the rest isn't as important. You deserve the day so....

Psychology tomorrow? Yes. Let me know if you enjoy it and have a great professor. They make all the difference and I'm just a geek with that stuff so we'll gab as the semester goes on.

Yes, we're going to Denver. I'll only be there for 3 days so I won't see as much as I'd like.

I'll be there for the historic convention.I've tried to make myself aware of his stand on things since he was an IL senator first and then our senator in the US. I wanted to be there on the 45th anniversary of Dr. King's I have a Dream Speech when Obama accepts the nomination for President of the US. It's a great moment in history and has importance for me and my daughter. Not for something as silly as the supposed rock star phenomenon but as informed minority female citizens of our country. Plus I so enjoy politics.

I have to get back for school on Tuesday.

And now I'm off to watch Michelle Obama's speech.
